Dr. Nicole Hartman
My practice focus is in women’s health, treating conditions such as peri-menopause, menopause, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), and hypothyroidism, as well as in digestive disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). I also help my patients with weight loss resistance by treating the underlying imbalances that are contributing to a slowed metabolism.
My practice style is largely functional medicine based, meaning that I appreciate that things like our genetic makeup can influence how well different therapies work for each person. This approach strives to optimize the function of each organ system, at the same time as providing treatment for disease that is individualized rather than having a one-size-fits-all approach for each diagnosis.
