Melanie MacIver
Melanie MacIver is a naturopathic doctor, local herbalist, and women’s health advocate, with over 19 years of clinical experience. Her goal is to provide better heath care options for women; helping women live their healthiest, happiest lives. Dr. MacIver is passionate about all women’s health issues, and enjoys treating weight loss resistance, PCOS, endometriosis, and anything related to peri-menopause and menopause. She has done extensive research on the thyroid gland, and has many treatment options beyond the conventional approach. Dr MacIver has created several women’s health intensive programs, which all begin with a thorough, comprehensive lab assessment. Expect to gain an understanding of what is happening in your body, and a individualized, actionable treatment plan. Dr Maciver is a mother of two girls and loves spending time outdoors; mountain biking, skiing, gardening, foraging, and shopping at the local farmers market. Dr MacIver is a Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine graduate (2005), with additional trained in bio-identical hormones, mold illness, IV therapy, and Low Dose Immunotherapy (LDA/LDI). She has been using LDI for almost ten years, and finds it to be her single best tool for allergies and auto-immunity. Dr MacIver is a guest lecturer at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Saskia Karlen is a third-generation insurance broker specializing in life and health insurance, financial planning, and employee benefits. With a BA from the University of British Columbia, Saskia transitioned from a successful career in marketing to the insurance and financial services industry. She provides personalized insurance solutions and financial planning strategies to individuals and businesses, helping them achieve long-term financial security.
