Dr. Stewart believes the body has an inherent ability to heal itself when given the opportunity, but that sometimes it needs support to do so.
Her philosophy of less is often more means that rather than treating the symptom she is looking for the root cause of the issue and starting from there. She practices “whole-person” healthcare and encourages check-ins for prevention and optimal wellness.
Dr. Stewart’s practice focuses on healthcare for the whole family. She uses functional lab testing including allergy and hormone panels, clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, acupuncture, IV therapies and lifestyle counseling in her treatments.
Dr. Stewart is a board-certified and licensed naturopathic doctor with prescriptive authority, a member of the College of Physicians of British Columbia, the BC Naturopathic Association, and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
Dr. Rachel Stewart received her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from Queen’s University in Kingston, ON, and her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine Diploma from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, ON.
