By expanding MSP coverage for naturopathic services, we aim to reduce the financial burden on patients and increase access to a wider range of healthcare options. This change would help address patient demand for integrative care while alleviating strain on the conventional healthcare system. BCND is proud to collaborate with our colleagues across paramedical professions to advocate for equitable coverage that truly meets the health needs of British Columbians. Through these efforts, we are working toward a more inclusive healthcare system that reflects the diversity of patient choices and care preferences.
Saskia Karlen is a third-generation insurance broker specializing in life and health insurance, financial planning, and employee benefits. With a BA from the University of British Columbia, Saskia transitioned from a successful career in marketing to the insurance and financial services industry. She provides personalized insurance solutions and financial planning strategies to individuals and businesses, helping them achieve long-term financial security.
