Annual General Meeting 2026
Dr. Janine Fraser, ND
I have been a BCND member since 2007, after graduating from Boucher and becoming licensed in British Columbia. Trained to our full scope by experienced practitioners in the early days of Boucher, I am grounded in naturopathic philosophy and proud of the diverse, integrative care we provide in BC.
I first volunteered with BCNA/BCND in 2013, five years into practice, and have remained involved since, including serving as President from 2018 to 2020. This experience has given me a strong understanding of how to navigate complex issues, represent the profession, and move priorities forward in ways that reflect the needs of both NDs and the patients we serve.
I am a full-time naturopathic doctor and clinic owner based in Langford, BC. My clinical work spans a range of concerns, with interests in hormones, autoimmune conditions, allergies, brain health, menopause, and complex chronic illness.
I have engaged with MLAs, ministers, and decision-makers to advance understanding of naturopathic medicine. A key focus for me is scope. Expanding scope ensures we apply our training, improves access to care, and helps meet growing healthcare needs.
We are in a healthcare crisis. Naturopathic doctors can and should play a larger role. If elected, I will continue to work tirelessly to advance scope in BC.
